What does it mean to be sustainable?
We have an ongoing commitment to cultivate a creative work environment with highly engaged employees, harnessing the diversity of our communities, contributing to society, and playing our part in protecting the environment.
Sustainability is fundamental to how we do business and how we respect and create value for all our stakeholders. Aligned with our strategy, Elevate Our Value, we embed environmental, social, and governance standards into our operations.
Guided by international guidelines like the OECD and UNGC principles, we aim to create long-term value while minimizing our environmental footprint and promoting social responsibility. Through stakeholder engagement and targeted actions, we track progress and strive for continuous improvement.
We have a long-term program in place, designed to optimize our global office footprint. This program aims to provide employees a positive workplace experience while streamlining operating costs, meeting environmental standards, and reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Our new leased office in Milan exemplifies the program’s objectives. The new building adheres to the LEED V4 BD+C protocol, which emphasizes eco-conscious construction, and holds a Well Building Standard (WELL) certification, the world’s leading health-focused building standard.

The Wolters Kluwer India's PARWAAH team partnered with NGO Being Volunteer Foundation to ring in the festive spirit of Diwali (the festival of lights). Being Volunteer Foundation is an NGO that carries out social projects, where the focus is on sustained volunteering to create a real social impact.
