Award-winning accountancy firm embraces Twinfield's online accounting solutionto offer flexible online accounting services
Reeves, one of the UK's major accountancy and financial services firms practising in London and South East England, is enhancing its outsourcing business service using Twinfield, Wolters Kluwer's cloud-based online accounting solution. Using Twinfield, Reeves will deliver a flexible and secure collaborative online service to its national and international clients.
Reeves provides a wide range of services to all sizes and types of businesses, including traditional accounting services, specialist international VAT consultancy, forensic accounting and litigation support and business development consultancy. It has chosen Twinfield to offer real time access to data to its clients that receive a full back office operation from Reeves. In doing so, Reeves will be able to automate many of the basic bookkeeping processes that it offers and deliver an increased number of added-value and advisory services.
Emma Chesson, Head of Online Services at Reeves, says: 'We engaged Twinfield around 18 months ago when we recognised that delivering value-added, collaborative online services was the key to our business growth. Twinfield stood out because of the flexibility of its system.'
'We work with a diverse range of companies and Twinfield could be used to service all our clients, from startups right through to multi-organisational businesses. Some of the other online accounting providers we approached were not able to offer us the same flexibility.'
Michael O'Brien, Business Services Partner at Reeves, adds: 'We are in the process of transferring all our internal business service clients over in the next few months. We are already seeing great efficiency gains since implementing the system and this will undoubtedly improve as our internal processes become more automated. Twinfield is ahead of the game in the UK marketplace and we now see ourselves very much in front of the competition.'
Twinfield will give Reeves' staff and its clients secure, real time access to financial and KPI data, which will ultimately enable Reeves to plan ahead with its clients throughout the year, rather than - for example - firefighting at the end-of-year accounts. It is this collaborative approach that Reeves is working towards so that it can offer more proactive advisory services and ultimately become a 'virtual FD' to its clients.
O'Brien concludes: 'We've had some great feedback from our clients. When we show them Twinfield, they immediately see the potential of the solution. For some clients we are continuing to offer all of our previous services, whereas for others we are tailoring our services to suit their needs; all thanks to the flexibility of using a cloud-based solution.
'The support from Twinfield has been fantastic and they have become an integral part of our team. I think it's fair to say that they have exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to continuing a great working relationship into the future. We're already speaking with a number of their partners to see how they can complement our existing solution.'
Barbara Kroll, Managing Director at Twinfield UK, says: 'Throughout our partnership, Reeves has impressed us with their forward-looking attitude. Their executive committee made a commitment to create a future-proof practice, and they ran a very robust selection process when choosing their online partner. We continue to work with the team on the implementation of their strategic vision.'
