Ovid and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins to Showcase New Partnerships, iPad App Offerings and Innovations that Support Access to the Latest Medical Research
Wolters Kluwer Health is pleased to announce that Ovid and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) will exhibit at the 35 th Annual UKSG Conference held in Glasgow, Scotland, March 26-28, to share information on new content, partnerships and innovations that support quick access to the latest medical research. Representatives from Ovid and LWW will be at the Wolters Kluwer Health stand 91 & 93.

- Jayne Marks, Vice President, Publishing at Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research is scheduled to speak at the Plenary Session 3, 9:00am on Tuesday 27 th March. Her session, ‘Developing usage as a new metric: progress on the Journal Usage Factor’ will review the research undertaken to date and outline the next steps for implementing the Usage Factor as a viable additional metric to measure the impact and status of scholarly journals. Jayne is co-chair of the Usage Factor project.
- Ovid is now the only medical research aggregator to distribute current, non-embargoed New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) content to institutions. Ovid offers unlimited-user access to current issues of NEJM the through 1990 in PDF format, plus links to Online First articles.

- LWW has developed a market-leading journal app for the iPad® that offers a seamless extension of a journal’s print and online content optimized for a dynamic and portable reading experience.
