Innovation Award Charitable Contribution Donated to the Hospital Research Foundation
Wolters Kluwer Health is pleased to announce that it has been selected as an Innovation Champion by Adelaide Research and Innovation (ARI), which is owned by the University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia and provides logistical and financial support for research projects at the University. ARI Innovation Champions were selected for their partnerships with University of Adelaide entities on research and development activities through more effective products, processes, services, policies, technologies or ideas.
Wolters Kluwer Health was selected for its ongoing partnership with the Joanna Briggs Institute to bring their high-quality evidence-based practice resources to healthcare institutions globally. JBI produces databases, books and interactive tools to help physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals use EBP to improve patient care.
"We're delighted to be recognized by ARI for the shared mission of both Wolters Kluwer and JBI to bring evidence-based practice resource to the forefront of hospitals and healthcare professionals globally" said Anne Woods, MSN, RN, CRNP, ANP-BC, Chief Nurse at Wolters Kluwer Health, Medical Research and publisher of the American Journal of Nursing. "And we're equally pleased to support the Hospital Research Foundation with our chartable donation."
ARI announced its inaugural 10 Innovation Champions this year donating A$500 to each of the recognized institution's charity of choice. Wolters Kluwer Health selected the Hospital Research Foundation to receive its charitable award. The Foundation supports vital world-leading medical research in South Australia conducted at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) and the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI). Its research programs are designed to improve treatment, prevention and potential cures for heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, asthma, arthritis and other diseases and illnesses.
