Rupak Venugopal is Vice President, Beneficial Ownership, for Wolters Kluwer Financial & Corporate Compliance, leading the introduction of a pivotal product and service line aimed at assisting millions of small businesses in complying with new beneficial ownership reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act. In a cross-divisional leadership role, he has played a crucial part in guiding Wolters Kluwer and stakeholders through the intricacies of a complex regulatory landscape and has helped advance Wolters Kluwer’s work as a market leader with a wide array of tailor-made solutions to cater to needs of various market segments across the small business and advisor ecosystems.
Previously, he had a nearly seven-year tenure as the Vice President and Head of Customer Insights and Sales Operations for Wolters Kluwer's Governance, Risk, and Compliance division overseeing functions that supported $1.2 billion in annual revenues. Venugopal led cross-functional teams that provided business units a holistic understanding of their customer portfolio and helped support these go-to-market teams identify untapped opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
Earlier he worked at EXL, as the Vice President & Head of Analytics for the UK & Europe region, and he has held various leadership roles in the Data Analytics/AI space in the Greater New York City Area.
He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute and a master’s in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
