Croner acquires Simply Personnel, UK producer of best-selling HR software

Marks an important part of Croner’s strategy for developing solutions that reduce the complexities of employment, HR and health & safety.

Croner, a leading UK provider of workplace consultancy, information services and software, part of Wolters Kluwer, has acquired Simply Personnel, the provider of some of the UK's best-selling HR software services.

Announcing the acquisition, Cathy Wolfe, CEO of Wolters Kluwer UK, said: “This is an important part of Croner’s strategy for developing solutions that reduce the complexities of employment, HR and health & safety within commercial businesses and public sector organizations. Simply Personnel strengthens Croner’s existing capabilities in expert HR software systems that improve productivity and reduce spending on administrative costs among our clients.”

Manjit Sindhar, Managing Director of Simply Personnel, said: “By joining Wolters Kluwer we will bring extended capabilities to Croner’s HR software expertise and extend our reach into wider UK and international markets.”

Wolters Kluwer will continue to market Simply Personnel’s existing products. Manjit Sindhar will join Wolters Kluwer as Head of Client Server Software for Croner and other members of the Simply Personnel team will strengthen the software management team at Croner.
