Dr. Steve Mok has over a decade of experience in the areas of antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases and clinical pharmacy management.
He has practiced in a variety of settings, including government regulatory agencies, academic medical centers and community hospitals. His practice interests include antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvement, pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research.
Dr. Mok earned his doctor of pharmacy degree with a minor in economics from the University of Pittsburgh and completed an infectious diseases pharmacy residency at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in St Petersburg, Florida. He is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and infectious diseases. He serves on the Specialty Council on Infectious Diseases of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties to help define the standards of infectious diseases pharmacy practice. He earned his Master in Business Administration with a specialization in Management of Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is certified with a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
