Leslie has dedicated her entire career to delivering better healthcare through technology. She plays a strategic role in launching new products and capabilities within the Clinical Effectiveness business, including several flagship product launches for UpToDate®. She is most interested in the intersection of how access to data and clinicogenomics will lead to decreased clinical trial phase durations. She is also watching the practical application of value-based care and the regulatory environment that may enable it.
Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Leslie served as the Chief Product Officer for Analytics at Optum, where she built new products within the Life Sciences space, launched new Payer offerings, ran a data-enabled healthcare digital marketing business, and collaborated to make an Analytics Center of Excellence a reality for Optum’s healthcare customers. Leslie came to Optum via the acquisition of the Advisory Board Company, where she spent 16+ years in a variety of roles. Most notably, Leslie served as General Manager of several of the former Crimson technology products, which served providers in helping them make operational, financial, clinical, and purchasing decisions with analytics. Prior to that, she held account management, national accounts, product management, customer success, and consulting roles across a variety of provider-centric disciplines in the analytics space.
Leslie enjoys public speaking and has spoken about analytics, technology, and healthcare data at numerous conferences, podcasts, web conferences, and summits including Scottsdale Institute, Becker's webinars, multiple Advisory Boards, and Optum conferences.
