Acting Assistant Attorney General Molly J. Moran to Keynote the 18th Annual CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium

Moran and Several Other Prominent Experts from the Department of Justice to Speak at Colloquium

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services today announced that the keynote speaker for its 18 th annual  CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium will be Molly J. Moran, acting assistant attorney general, Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department of Justice.

Moran became acting assistant attorney general in August 2014. Before then, she served as Attorney General Eric Holder's deputy chief of staff and counselor, with responsibility for civil rights policy and enforcement. Moran also has served as deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Policy. Before joining the Department of Justice in 2009, she was a litigation partner at the law firm, Jenner & Block, LLP. 

Along with Moran, more than 70 federal regulators, attorneys, bank compliance officers and other industry experts will speak to an expected crowd of more than 500 attendees at this year's Colloquium, held Nov. 2-5 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina. Since its inception in 1996, the Colloquium has grown to become a prominent forum for compliance officers seeking insights about navigating the increasingly complex regulatory and risk management challenges facing financial institutions today.

Among this year's speakers are several other prominent experts from the DOJ, including:
