Wolters Kluwer, CCH User Conference Welcomes New Class of Talented, Young Professionals to the 2014 Emerging Leaders Program

As Wolters Kluwer, CCH gears up for its upcoming  Wolters Kluwer, CCH Connections User Conference 2014, from October 26 – 29 in Orlando, a new class of talented professionals prepare to participate in the 2014 Emerging Leaders Program. Each of these 20, highly-talented tax and accounting professionals has earned a complimentary opportunity to network with and learn from key industry thought leaders at the upcoming User Conference. They also will be involved in educational sessions designed to help them grow as professionals, better manage their areas of responsibility within their businesses and progressively rise as leaders within their firms.

The Emerging Leaders Program debuted at last year’s CCH Connections User Conference in Phoenix. Members of the inaugural program had high praise for the program and how it helped them grow as a leader within their own firms.

“There was a lot of great interaction with same-level peers at similar firms. The opportunity to spend time and share ideas, challenges and processes was immeasurable,” said Javier Zúñiga, Senior Consultant and Tax Manager for PDR Certified Public Accountants, with offices in Tampa and Clearwater, FL.  He was nominated by his firm to participate last year and added, “I’d definitely recommend the Emerging Leaders Program because you are among peers that are as engaged in advancing in their career paths as you are.”

Participants of the Wolters Kluwer, CCH Emerging Leaders Program are recognized for exceptional teamwork, being innovative contributors and for adding to their firms’ overall value on a variety of levels. They regularly provide a significant span of positive influence among colleagues and offer support by being active listeners, strong communicators, respected technology experts, enterprising decision makers and by consistently leveraging their skills to benefit their firms for future success.

“Focusing on talent development is a key initiative for firms aiming for long-term growth and success,” said Teresa Mackintosh, President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer, CCH. “Through our Emerging Leaders Program, participants are able to learn from peers, hone their leadership skills and gain valuable insights from industry leaders during the User Conference. What they learn in a short period of time will positively influence their careers, their firms and their clients for years to come.”
