Once again Wolters Kluwer extends a warm welcome to visitors, customers, and authors at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair.
Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory and Health divisions will be present at the Fair and will highlight online platforms, intelligent information-enabled solutions, and content developments. Wolters Kluwer Health will showcase its digital offerings from leading product lines including Ovid and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins:
- New content coming to Ovid includes Visible Body, producer of an award-winning suite of 3D anatomy education solutions. At our stand, Ovid will offer seven interactive, 3D anatomy education modules, along with companion mobile apps for the iPad® and Android-based tablets available for health science schools, hospitals, librarians and students globally.
- Lippincott Williams & Wilkins will be showcasing vSim for Nursing. Designed to simulate real nursing scenarios, vSim for Nursing, co-developed by Laerdal Medical and Wolters Kluwer Health, allows students to interact with virtual patients in a safe, realistic online environment.
- Lippincott Solutions will demo a series of comprehensive, integrated software applications that includes advanced online workflow technology, current evidence-based clinical information, and professional development tools for the practicing nurse. The suite of products helps organizations make evidence actionable at the bedside by supporting evidence-based practice, standardizing care, saving time, and streamlining workflows.
From Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory division and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Germany, Dr. Ulrich Hermann will be at the booth on Wednesday October 8, and participate in the panel discussion “IT Strategies and Solutions for Digital Publishers” from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The panel will focus on digitization and complex workflows within information companies that are causing challenges to management and IT. Dr. Hermann will also be part of the master class “Possibly the Best Digital Subscription Ever” on Thursday, October 9 from 10:00-11:30 a.m., which will emphasize subscription-related success tactics in publishing content, software, portal technology, and services.
