Registration Now Open for the 15th Annual TeamMate User Forum

Frank Abagnale, Subject of the Movie, “Catch Me If You Can,” to Provide Keynote Address

Wolters Kluwer Audit, Risk & Compliance announced today that registration is now open for its 15th annual TeamMate User Forum. The 2015 User Forum will be held from Sept. 27-30 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

The TeamMate User Forum is a world-class audit technology conference. The industry event is expected to bring together more than 700 audit professionals and industry experts to help organizations enhance their use of the TeamMate audit management system as well as discuss the latest internal audit trends and best practices. As a result, auditors will be able to leave the conference with an expanded network of peers and experts that they can connect and collaborate with throughout the year.

This year’s keynote speaker is Frank Abagnale, a renowned forgery, embezzlement and security expert as well as the acclaimed subject of the movie, “Catch Me If You Can,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. For over 36 years, Abagnale has worked with, advised and consulted with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations and government agencies around the world, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation. However, Abagnale’s rare blend of knowledge and expertise really began more than 40 years ago when he was known as one of the world's most famous con men.

“The goal of this year’s User Forum is to help audit professionals gather best practices that will help them grow safely and profitably in today’s competitive marketplace,” said Mike Gowell, senior vice president, TeamMate. “From our riveting keynote speaker to the professional connections made at the conference, attendees will leave with resources they can draw from to help enhance and support their audit departments.”

The User Forum also features continuing professional education accredited training courses with participants receiving up to 17.5 CPE credits if all sessions are attended. In addition, attendees may choose from a wide array of elective sessions, enabling them to tailor their experience to their specific needs and interests.

TeamMate is the world's most widely-used audit management system, with more than 100,000 auditors at over 2,500 organizations using the solution globally. In addition, TeamMate solutions also include Controls Management and Analytics. Together, this ecosystem of solutions provides auditors with the confidence needed to manage all aspects of risk identification and assessment, electronic working paper creation and management, controls framework management, and data analysis.
