Next Generation of Wolters Kluwer Innovation to be Highlighted at the 2017 American Association of Law Libraries Conference

Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S., marking an unprecedented period of innovation will showcase more than a dozen new and recently enhanced solutions for legal professionals at the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Annual Meeting and Conference in Austin, Texas, July 15-18.

The theme of this year's conference, “Forgo the Status Quo", is reflective of Wolters Kluwer's latest wave of innovative products and workflow solutions. “The changing challenges and opportunities our customers face are at the center of everything we do. We have taken our historic strengths in subject-matter expertise and customer-centric development and merged them with new technologies and content creation, curation and aggregation capabilities, to offer new solutions that significantly improve customer outcomes,” said Gregory Samios, Chief Executive Officer of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. “These are new solutions for new times.”

“These new solutions directly result from Wolters Kluwer's commitment to listening to our customers,” said Dean Sonderegger, Vice President & General Manager, Legal Markets & Innovation. “As technology's role in the practice of law continues to evolve, we will continue to innovate at the intersection of superior content and workflow to provide our customers with tools and solutions to enhance productivity, speed and accuracy.”

Best-in-Class Research Solutions

Wolters Kluwer has launched a series of new products to critical acclaim, while also introducing significant new enhancements to several of its existing market-leading solutions. At the core, is Wolters Kluwer's commitment to innovate at the intersection of superior content and workflow to provide customers with tools and solutions to enhance productivity, speed and accuracy.

Chief among these innovations is the integration of new content – spanning more than 25 practice areas – with Cheetah™, Wolters Kluwer's groundbreaking platform that has set the industry standard for legal research and workflow solutions. The company also recently introduced the next generation of Kluwer Arbitration, the world's leading research solution for international arbitration. The newly redesigned site provides legal professionals with market-leading content and fast, accurate research functionality on a modern interface.

Wolters Kluwer's new products are also winning industry acclaim for best-in-class integration of content into end-user workflow. Wolters Kluwer's Standard Fed Plus was recently named a 2017 SIIA CODiE Awards finalist in two categories, Best Legal Solution and Best Solution for Integrating Content into Workflow. A first-of-its-kind product, Standard Fed Plus provides a centralized location to monitor U.S. federal tax statutory and regulatory changes and provides point-in-time research capabilities.

Expanding Securities Offerings

As a market leader in transactional law, particularly in the areas of SEC research and filings preparations and mergers and acquisitions, Wolters Kluwer is now rolling out its newest securities offering, Transactional Law Suite for Securities, which will provide securities and M&A practitioners with an array of intuitive workflow tools.

Earlier this year, Wolters Kluwer introduced a new design and new features for its signature regulatory and SEC filings research and workflow solutions, RBsource® and RBsourceFilings®. In the near term, these products will be augmented by a new offering, RegReview, that will provide point-in-time analysis and contextual rule checking capabilities.

Wolters Kluwer has already unveiled Clarion, a unique new tool that expedites the M&A due diligence process and works to uncover hidden risks. Wolters Kluwer also recently launched M&A Clause Analytics, a solution powered both by artificial intelligence and expert attorney curation, allowing for the seamless and detailed comparison of a wide variety of clauses found in mergers & acquisitions agreements.

Enhanced Content Curation and Aggregation Capabilities

Wolters Kluwer continues to expand its application of content curation, developing workflow solutions to help users sort through, manage and organize vast amounts of content. This spring, the company launched SmartTask Corporate Suite to drive efficiency and consistency across law firms’ standard practices.

The company is establishing leadership in content aggregation across key business, industry and professional sources. This year, it launched a variety of solutions to address critical research needs of professionals across several practice areas, including the Cybersecurity & Privacy Law Suite to track cybersecurity regulation; the Federal Development Knowledge Center to track key legislative issues at the federal level; and collaboration with ktMINE to strengthen intellectual property content.

“Against a backdrop of extraordinary regulatory uncertainty, it is more incumbent on us than ever to work closely with our clients to develop solutions they can turn to in addressing their most complex and important challenges,” said David Bartolone, Managing Director of Kluwer Law International.

AALL will be held at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. Wolters Kluwer products will be located at Booth #703. To learn more, visit: www.aallnet.org
