Wolters Kluwer opens registration for webinar on managing employee social media use

Experienced professionals from K&L Gates LLP will discuss the landscape of employee social media use and share best practices for employers who wish to manage or impose discipline around such us.

Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. today announced that registration is open for its webinar in partnership with global law firm K&L Gates LLP on practical approaches and tips for employers to manage risks and consider the appropriate disciplinary parameters associated with employee social media use. The webinar, titled "The Art of Digital Discipline: Managing Employee Social Media Use & Best Practices for Imposing Discipline" will take place on Thursday, March 7.

The explosion of social media use within and outside of the workplace in recent years has created new concerns for businesses. Sometimes, the content posted on social media platforms is not simply innocuous; instead, it can be harmful or destructive for the individuals or businesses to which the content relates.

This hot-topic webinar will be led by Desiree F. Moore, Partner at K&L Gates LLP, and Erinn L. Rigney, Associate at K&L Gates, who will share practical insights into the legal and other risks that may result when employees post objectionable, offensive, or unlawful content online, and what appropriate disciplinary actions employers can consider.
