Safety and quality outcomes are clinical leadership responsibilities, yet capacity to build the future leaders of tomorrow with today’s research support tools for clinical care outcomes is lacking. It is time to consider new evidence-based solutions and strategies to enable integration of academic programs into healthcare for optimal clinical leadership development.
In this webinar, our speakers challenge the status quo of quality improvement and evidence-based practices by demonstrating how collaborative models, methods, and mechanisms of action assist and facilitate project management, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and implementation planning with cross-sector relevance and applicability.
Prepare to challenge traditional approaches and discover how evidence-based systems can revolutionize clinical governance and leadership. Learn more about evidence-based solutions including JBI PACES, the Getting Research into Practice (GRiP) approach, and the 7-phase evidence implementation process model.

About the speakers
Dr. Lizarondo works closely with clinicians to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to improve the quality and safety of health services globally. A significant aspect of her research revolves around understanding facilitation as a pivotal strategy for evidence implementation. She investigates the dynamics of facilitation in the context of evidence uptake, exploring its role in overcoming barriers and catalysing effective implementation. Central to her research agenda is the utilisation of the JBI Evidence Implementation Framework, synergistically integrated with a diverse array of theories, models, and frameworks.
Lucy actively engages in research projects aimed at driving tangible enhancements in patient care. This involves collaborating with clinicians, stakeholders, and international partners to implement evidence-based strategies that directly impact healthcare delivery and outcomes. Aside from evidence implementation, Lucy is also a research methodologist specialising in evidence synthesis and transfer.
Craig completed his PhD at Adelaide University on research methodology, and as program director of Implementation Science in JBI, has lead responsibility for research, scholarship, software development, and teaching evidence-based practice change. This includes oversight of international training programs across 70+ JBI Collaboration Entities worldwide.
Assoc. Prof. Lockwood is Chair of the JBI Scientific Committee and Co-Chair of the JBI Implementation Science Methods Group, with core interests in evidence implementation and qualitative synthesis from both a theoretical and pragmatic perspective. He is Chief Editor of JBI Evidence Implementation, Nursing, and Health Sciences, and of BMC Systematic Reviews - international peer-reviewed journals that publish manuscripts encompassing healthcare policy and practice, systematic reviews, methodology and methods, as well as evidence implementation and implementation science that advances the theoretical, methodological, and measurement aspects of healthcare practice.
