Christiane Schilling is a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for Software and Technology at Tax and Accounting Wolters Kluwer.

Christiane releases together with her team the desktop software “Steuer Spar Erklärung” for the annual tax return submission of end customers in Germany and supports the development of the “Steuertipps App” to address the young customer segment. In addition, she manages the digital and agile transformation in her business unit.

She has been fascinated by mathematics and logical relationships for as long as she can remember. After graduating high school, she obtained a bachelor's degree in chemistry and worked in this field for 10 years.

While she took a break from her career to raise her children, she worked as a temporary worker in a tax software company. When her children turned 11 and 14, she had the idea to study business informatics. She quickly realized that mathematics and programming still came easily to her and was even able to support her young fellow students, who in return guided her through all the business exams.

3 years later she completed her bachelor’s in business informatics and worked her first 3 years as a developer in a scrum team on a webshop until she changed to her current position as Scrum Master/ Agile Coach.

She has never regretted this decision and works in her job with a lot of fun and conviction.
