Jason Marx is the CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, a leading global provider of software, integrated workflow solutions, and information for tax, accounting, audit, and compliance professionals. As CEO of the global division, Marx leads Wolters Kluwer tax and accounting operations worldwide, with activities across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Previously, Marx served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, North America where he led the development and delivery of customer-focused software, solutions and information services for tax and accounting professionals throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to this, Marx served as President of CCH Small Firm Services and group Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Brazil.
Marx has more than 30 years of experience in the tax and accounting, financial services and information technology industries, with proven abilities to drive top-line growth and deliver innovative customer solutions. Before joining Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, Marx was Vice President & General Manager, Residential & Indirect Lending of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. There he led the development of award-winning software solutions that improved lending profitability and productivity and delivered significant business growth.
Before joining Wolters Kluwer in 2007, Marx held executive leadership positions within the banking and financial services industry, including FMF Capital, CitiMortgage, Household Financial Services, and as a co-founder of AMRESCO Residential Credit Corp.
Marx is a member of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council and has been named by Accounting Today as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University.
