Sio Naidoo is the Head of PreSales, Asia Pacific at TeamMate. He is experienced in both the audit and technology consulting industry and is passionate about helping audit teams improve their efficiency and effectiveness with new and emerging digital technologies.
Sio has held several roles at TeamMate, first in Customer Success then in Product Management. He currently leads and directs a team of presales consultants across APAC, who advise small and large audit teams on the value of TeamMate’s solutions. Sio also works closely with sales, marketing, and product management to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for TeamMate in the APAC region.
Sio has held external audit roles at KPMG and internal audit roles at James Cook University and Woolworths. These experiences have taken him from the financial focus of external audit across a variety of government and corporate sectors, to internal audit within the higher education and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
Sio holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa, a Master of Professional Accounting -Master of Business Administration (MPA-MBA) from James Cook University in Townsville, Australia, and he is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and is an Accredited Internal Audit Quality Assessor and a Professional Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Australia).
