Consult CCH Tax Workflow launched to help professionals give the best possible tax advice
The growth plans of many professional tax firms are often thwarted because transactional skills are concentrated in the hands of just one or two partners. The bottleneck that can result puts a significant brake on a firm’s desires to expand, or to provide a better level of client service, especially in tough economic conditions.
CCH, the UK’s leading tax and accounting information provider, part of Wolters Kluwer UK, has launched Consult CCH Tax Workflow, an online information service to help all qualified tax professionals navigate the correct procedural paths in tax transactions.
Consult CCH Tax Workflow takes a new approach to helping professionals reach their decisions by modelling the process for a specific transaction. The procedural modelling can be very sophisticated – potentially there are millions of paths through a topic - and Consult CCH Tax Workflow will guide users to a conclusion that they can then review and take action as necessary.
This interactive service is easy to use and saves users a great deal of time searching for information. It consists of 20 key tax topics, divided into six main areas: Capital Allowances, Remuneration, Value Added Tax, Capital Gains, Company Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
Each topic contains an introductory guidance section, a summary of the main features and, where appropriate, key issues. It is fully integrated with CCH’s leading tax and VAT publications, British Tax Library and British VAT Library.
Links to relevant material from HMRC and corresponding legislation are also provided from each of the procedural models allowing users to directly access primary source content without leaving the application.
The CCH Tax/VAT Advice Line is included with Consult CCH Tax Workflow to provide support for more complex tax situations.
