Shenan is one of the handful of CPAs in the country who is recognized as a real-world operator and a conceptual subject matter expert on cryptocurrency taxation.

Shehan is a Forbes Tax Contributor, CPE instructor, and a frequent technical contributor to various social media platforms. His article on Virtual Currency and Tax Ramifications was featured in The Tax Adviser magazine. He was one of the first CPAs to have a published academic article on cryptocurrency taxation.
