About the speakers

Agnes DiStasi, DNP, RN CNE
Agnes DiStasi, DNP, RN CNE
Dr. Agnes DiStasi has been a nurse educator for over 30 years. She has held previous positions as a Dean and Director of nursing programs, Dean of Faculty, and Dean of Curriculum for multi-campus universities, faculty member, and nursing education consultant. She has taught on-ground and virtually in LPN-RN, ADN, BSN, RN-BSN, and MSN programs, and has developed curricula for LPN, ADN, BSN, MSN, and DNP programs in both face-to-face and online formats.
Sonique Sailsman, PhD, RN
Sonique Sailsman, PhD, RN
Dr. Sailsman is a nurse educator with over 20 years of experience including bedside as well as traditional and online classroom. She received her BSN from the University of Miami (2000), her MSN in Nursing Education from Drexel University (2009), and her PhD in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University (2016).

Sheila Chery is Senior Clinical Content Specialist — Nursing, Lead Testing Coordinator. A nurse for more than 15 years, she worked primarily in adult orthopedics and neurology, and then spent time in Haiti providing pediatric and community healthcare. Ms. Chery now is fully immersed in the world of Clinical Judgment Exams (CJEs) and the Next Generation NCLEX®, and mentors others in the art of NGN item-writing.

Dr. Judith W. Herrman is a nurse, educator, and researcher with a passion for nursing education and helping adolescents and young adults stay healthy and learning.

Dr. Virginia "Ginny" Wangerin is an educator, consultant, and speaker with over 40 years’ experience in nursing. She has taught at the ADN, BSN, and graduate level, and most recently developed and implemented the first nursing program at Iowa State University.
