Evolving roles can lead to new goals

As experts in information management, medical librarians serving healthcare systems around the world are critical extensions of the clinical team and ideally positioned to help choose the solutions that will promote better decision-making and yield better patient outcomes.

Medical librarians need to amplify the value they deliver and communicate how investing in the most comprehensive reference tools for use at the point of care can deliver strategic support to clinicians and improve outcomes.
