Industry expert to present critical research on the role of AI in internal audit
Wolters Kluwer, a global leader in professional information, software solutions and services, today announces that Jim Pelletier, CIA, CGAP, Senior Product Manager for its TeamMate Global Audit Solutions business, will present during two expert sessions at the upcoming IIA 2024 International Conference on Tuesday, July 16.
Pelletier will present a session entitled “On the Horizon: Leading Integrated Risk and Assurance”, exploring the current state of Internal Audit and outlining the next steps for delivering a holistic and actionable view of risk to drive future organizational assurance. The session aims to equip auditors with strategies for effective collaboration, while maintaining independence to continue to ensure continued assurance in a rapidly evolving landscape.
The session topics will include:
- Insights into the Board’s need for a holistic view of risk and risk assurance
- Understanding of Integrated Assurance – what it is and what it is not
- How Internal Audit can lead the change to meet these evolving needs
