Supports the global multidisciplinary mental health research community and the establishment of mental health science as a superdiscipline.
It achieves this through the dissemination of evidence-based interdisciplinary research, and by providing a publishing outlet for a worldwide community of researchers, clinicians, medical scientists, social scientists, life scientists, and policy-makers in addressing this growing, global issue.
The journal will support researchers in publishing their research into how mental illness develops; how to identify at-risk populations; and developing effective interventions for those affected by mental illness.
Importantly, Mental Health Science supports the collection, sharing, and understanding of the data on the use of mental health services and disseminates research in the social aspects of mental health, such as the impact of mental illness on the economy, politics, and public health.
