The official journal of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland, European Association of Coloproctology, and other learned societies.

The journal is devoted to the clinical problems that are directly relevant to adult patients with intestinal (small bowel, colon, rectum, and anus) diseases and the multidisciplinary (surgical, medical, nursing, pathology, radiology, oncology) clinical teams that care for them.

Colorectal Disease publishes original research and reviews regarding the epidemiology & aetiology, diagnosis, classification, management, prognosis, and long-term sequelae of lower gastrointestinal tract diseases. It also welcomes submissions relating to aspects of healthcare processes that directly impact patients with lower gastrointestinal diseases, such as:
