At UpToDate LexiDrug, John leads the Content Advancement and Training team to ensure development of high-quality content, as well as the Inclusive Language Committee to ensure the referential drug content and patient education materials represent a wide population. John is also an active member and former co-chair of the Inclusive Content Guide Committee at Wolters Kluwer Health to guide the development of inclusive content across patient- and clinician-facing solutions in the business.
Prior to Wolters Kluwer, John held a shared faculty position at Cleveland Clinic Akron General for 10 years where he maintained a clinical practice in the care of adult patients with various endocrine conditions. His clinical practice took place in critical care, inpatient, ambulatory care, and transition of care settings. John also served as Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
John received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toledo and completed postgraduate training at Cleveland Clinical Akron General with a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency. He previously served on planning committees for the Ohio College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Endocrine and Metabolism Practice Research Network of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
