Social Policy and Practice (SPP) is a comprehensive bibliographic database for those working or studying in the health and social care sectors - bringing together information from the UK's five leading collections of health and social care resources.
Social Policy and Practice helps professionals, practitioners, researchers and students interested in health and social care to identify articles and publications of relevance to the UK context. • NSPCC Library – The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children’s library is the only UK library that specialises in safeguarding, child protection, child abuse and neglect.
• Planex – IDOX Knowledge Exchange is a trusted provider of library and information services to clients in government and the public sector in the UK, focused on social policy.

SPP also includes the full archives of the following resources:
• AgeInfo - Centre for Policy on Ageing (to March 2024)
• Social Care Online - Social Care Institute for Excellence (to December 2022)
• Child Data - National Children’s Bureau (to January 2018)
• Greater London Authority Library (to April 2014)
