In an article headlined, “Flurry of ESG rules unleashes fight among software businesses,” the Financial Times recognized Wolters Kluwer as "one of the biggest winners" in the growing market for software that helps companies with the surge of corporate sustainability regulations. According to the Financial Times, “as authorities worldwide write new corporate sustainability regulations, a market for software that helps companies with compliance has blossomed — but has not gotten much attention yet.”
The article highlighted Wolters Kluwer’s ESG reporting tools, which include Enablon, as well as the launch of the company’s Corporate Performance and & ESG (CP & ESG) division earlier this year.
The FT also reported that Wolters Kluwer was named among the leading global providers of ESG Software in the inaugural Green Quadrant: ESG Reporting and Data Management Software 2023 report from Verdantix, an independent research firm. Within the Green Quadrant, the CP & ESG division was recognized as having the strongest market momentum among all vendors.
Karen Abramson, CEO of Wolters Kluwer’s Corporate Performance & ESG (CP & ESG) division, says: “We see ESG as a true team sport within large companies, one that requires the Finance function, EHS, Sustainability, Risk, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Procurement and other internal teams to come together to collaborate, so they can share, report and make meaningful use of data to measure and improve their ESG performance. The coverage in the Financial Times and recognition by Verdantix analysts indicates our market-leading technologies are well prepared to drive solutions to support corporations with this enterprise-wide ESG digital transformation.”
Wolters Kluwer CP & ESG, created in March 2023, harnesses four award-winning global, cloud-based software businesses whose combined reach provides industry-leading solutions. The division brings together CCH Tagetik, OneSumX, TeamMate, and Enablon, in a family of solutions that are driving up standards of corporate responsibility, workplace safety, global sustainability and regulatory compliance across multiple industry sectors.
