Prof. Dr. Johannes Wirth

Prof. Dr. Johannes Wirth is a partner at SIR business consulting. Mr. Wirth worked in Prof. Küting's team from 1996 to 2014, in particular on issues of national and international group accounting at Saarland University.  

Currently, Mr. Wirth is professor for external and internal accounting at the University of Applied Sciences Trier/Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld. 

In addition to his academic work in the field of corporate accounting, he is also involved in the implementation of corporate accounting in the leading software environments CCH Tagetik and SAP. Furthermore, Mr. Wirth has been a member of the review board of the journal "Internationale und kapitalmarktorientierte Rechnungslegung (KoR)" since 2009 and is the author of relevant literature on the preparation of consolidated financial statements using SAP software.
