Shanon Conroy is manager of Business Service Processing (BSP) for Wolters Kluwer U.S. Advisory Services, where she leads a team of data analysts dedicated to short- and long-term data processing and analysis projects for financial institutions of all asset sizes. Her team manages a broad array of outsourced data analysis projects, including HMDA and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) submission services, exam preparation, data integrity reviews, address reviews, report generation and maps. Conroy also manages Advisory Services’ training group, creating training programs and training guides for clients and end users on the industry-leading software CRA Wiz.
Conroy has managed hundreds of projects ranging from monthly data reviews of 10,0000-plus loan files for top-ten U.S. lending institutions, to one-time HMDA and/or CRA loan application register (LAR) submissions for institutions with LAR files ranging from 1,000 loans to 50,000 loans. Conroy earned her bachelor of arts degree from Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts.
Conroy also provides training for bank compliance teams. In addition, she has spoken at the CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium and at the “HMDA at the Crossroads: Submissions and Scrub” webinar. Conroy is also a published author on the HMDA Dodd Frank regulatory changes, including “What You Need to Know Before You Hit Submit,” published in Banking Exchange.
