He specializes in the field of civil law and civil proceedings; postdoctoral degree in legal sciences; associate professor of the University of Silesia; as of 2016 - president of the Association of Polish Judges "Iustitia".
In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia. In 2006, at the same faculty and on the basis of the dissertation entitled “The Procedure for Submitting the Object of the Performance to a Court Deposit”, he was awarded a PhD degree in legal sciences, whereas in 2014 – on the basis of academic achievement and the dissertation entitled ”Rules of Adjudication in Non-Litigious Proceedings” – a postdoctoral degree in legal sciences. Associate professor at the University of Silesia, employed in the Department of Civil Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration.
As a judge, he adjudicated in the Regional Court in Katowice. At present, a judge of the District Court in Katowice. In 2009, appointed the President of the Silesian Branch of the Association of Polish Judges "Iustitia", whereas in 2016 – the President of the Association of Polish Judges "Iustitia", elected for a three-year term.
In 2017, appointed a member of the Programme Board of the Archive of Wiktor Osiatynski. In 2017, joined the Social Codification Commission. In the same year, he was also awarded the Medal of Merit to Justice - Bene Merentibus Iustitiae.
