Associate professor at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, habilitated doctor, graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, scholarship holder of the French Government in 1999/2000, completed post-graduate studies in European law at the University of Social Sciences in Toulouse (France). Scholarship holder of the Polish government at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium) in 2001/2002, she obtained the title of Master of European Studies. She obtained her PhD degree (2004) and the degree of habilitated doctor (2014) at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Scholarship holder of the European Academy of Law and the Natolin Foundation at the European Institute in Florence (2005, 2009), the Van Calker Foundation at the Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne (2012) and the Foundation for Polish Science (Beidge-Returns Program 2010-2012, Mentoring Program 2014-2015). She taught at the European Center of the University of Warsaw, the European College of Law and Administration, the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Study of European Law for judges of common and administrative courts and prosecutors, as well as post-graduate studies in competition law conducted by the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. As a visiting professor, she lectured, among others, at the Panthéon Assas University in Paris, the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in Nice, the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, the University of Luxembourg. Member of the editorial board of the “European Judiciary Review”. Author of numerous publications on European law. Judge at the General Court of the European Union as of 20 September 2016.
