In the period from October 1st, 1984 until June 1st, 1989, studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and defended her master's thesis entitled "Parents' Child Maintenance Obligation Against the Background of General Alimony Obligation Rules", written at the Civil Law Department of the Jagiellonian University under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Janina Preussner-Zamorska.
On June 15th, 2000, successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled "The Scope of Administrative Control by the Supreme Administrative Court", written under the scientific guidance of prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Woś and on June 19th, 2000, obtained a PhD degree in legal sciences. In 2010, obtained a post-doctoral degree on the basis of the dissertation "Effectiveness of Administrative Court Rulings".
As of February 1st, 1989, she was first employed as an assistant trainee, then assistant, and as of October 1st, 2001, as an assistant professor at the Department of Administrative Proceedings of the Jagiellonian University, and of November 1st, 2014 – an associate professor of the Jagiellonian University.
In the years 1989 – 1991 completed judge training at the Voivodeship Court in Cracow. After her judicial exam passed with the “very good” result, on November 25th, 1991, appointed associate judge at the Regional Court for Cracow Podgorze in Cracow. On June 14th, 1993, appointed judge at the Regional Court for Cracow Podgorze in Cracow, and on October 17th, 1996 - judge at the Voivodeship Court in Cracow. She adjudicated in civil matters and also served as an inspector. On June 5th, 2003, appointed judge at the Court of Appeal in Cracow, and on August 25th, 2010 –judge at the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court, where she still adjudicates today.
In her scientific research, she successfully combines a variety of administrative, judiciary-administrative and civil matters, in particular the issues of administrative and judicial enforcement.
Awarded the Collegiate Award of the Ist degree of the Jagiellonian University Provost for outstanding achievements in scientific research on the occasion of the inauguration of the academic year 2004/2005, 2005/2006, 2009/2010, 2011/2012, the Collegiate Award of the IInd degree of the Jagiellonian University Provost for outstanding achievements in scientific research on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2016/2017 academic year, as well as the Collegiate Award of the IIIrd degree of the Jagiellonian University Provost for outstanding achievements in scientific research on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2017/2018 academic year.
