Lendlease deploys a digital Permit-to-Work system to employees and contractors

The Company

Lendlease is an international investment, development and construction company with core expertise in shaping cities and creating strong and connected communities. The organization's purpose is to create places where communities thrive. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, Lendlease has operations in Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The firm employs approximately 8,500 people around the world.

The need for digital permits

When Lendlease had an external audit performed, they were told the permit process was not being followed correctly at the company. There was a non-conformance. As part of the existing process, once permitted work is completed, permits must be signed off at the end to show that they have been closed off. However, this was not being done for a lot of paper permits.

To fix and address this non-conformance, Lendlease started to look for a digital solution that allows users to see what is to be closed and close permits out.
