    This e-Learning course consists of a theoretical and practical module. Whether you want to learn more about incident methods, analyze incidents or if you want to build IncidentXP competence, this e-Learning course covers it all.

    Step-by-step approach

    To master the objectives of e-learning, every module has a step-by-step approach. You will be guided through these steps with elaborate explanations, supported by visualizations and exercises.

    Every module can be completed in approximately two hours straight or over a period of time. Upon completion of the modules, a certificate will be awarded.

    The Incident modules are only available as a package deal.

    Module 1: Introduction to Learning from Incidents

    This module describes the basics of learning from incidents by going through the steps of incident recording, analysis, and investigation. You will get familiar with various incident methods, and focus on one in particular that helps you store, analyze and report incident investigation results.

    The course starts with a brief introduction on the need to learn from incidents in the first place. Furthermore, you will learn from underlying causes or root causes and how to record incident data on bowtie diagrams. When finishing that step, you will be able to formulate realistic recommendations. Best of all? You can visualize all of the above!

    Module 2: Introduction to IncidentXP

    This module covers the basic functionality of the IncidentXP software, enabling you to structure and analyze incident data. During this course, you will learn how to run an incident registration to learn from incidents, using IncidentXP. No previous experience with the software is required to participate in this module, but the module is not meant to replace face-to-face, in-depth incident training from one of our partners.

    The module starts with a general introduction on the IncidentXP software and continues with how to create an incident, a timeline diagram, time stamps, modifying actors, how to create an analysis diagram, add incident barriers, add causation assessments, add actions/recommendations, add attachments, and linking incidents with bowties.
