Student technology findings and curriculum solutions

Fostering a growth mindset is an educational innovation taking place in today’s K-12 schools (U.S. Department of Education, 2016). Innovative use of technology is a key player. Technology increases student effort on the front end resulting in increased motivation and self-satisfaction shifting the language from effort to payoff. The National League of Nursing (NLN) conducted a brief exploratory survey with nursing students across the country. The focus of the survey was to gain a student-centered impression on the use of technology in the nursing education classroom. For this webinar, the NLN will engage a national dialogue with student leaders in nursing education to discuss the findings of the survey. The focus will be to gain a student perspective on how we leverage technology for faculty development that enhances ways students engage in the learning process.
