Laura highlights, “The CCH Axcess suite really has allowed us to create efficiencies in all of our workflow processes, not just getting rid of mundane tasks, but also allowing us to refocus on the advisory part of our business.

Laura explains, “I just don’t know what we would do if we didn’t have that integration.” The seamless movement of documents between CCH Axcess Tax, Document, and Portal has significantly reduced inefficiencies. “It has made us a lot more efficient,” Laura notes, emphasizing the advantage of not having to juggle multiple products and logins.

Focus on what matters 

Among the various CCH products, Laura’s favorite is CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan. This tool has eliminated repetitive data entry tasks, allowing new associates to focus on more meaningful work. “Being able to take away that mundane task and let them really focus on what we’re trying to accomplish for our clients has been a game changer,” she says. Additionally, CCH Axcess Workflow has further enhanced their firm’s environment by facilitating the smooth movement of client files and support across all offices.
 

Automated business returns 

The automation and streamlining of their business tax process through tools like CCH Portal, Axcess Tax, and Engagement have been transformative. “Not having to hand-key entity returns has been a tremendous game changer for us,” Laura explains. This automation saves time and allows staff to focus on the end results rather than the data entry process.

Quality and efficiency

In an industry facing increasing compression, Brown Edwards strives to work smarter, not harder. The efficiencies gained from using CCH Axcess Tax have improved the quality of their output. Laura concludes, “Being able to move to CCH Axcess Tax has allowed us to take advantage of a lot of those efficiencies and improve the quality of the product that we’re moving forward to our clients.”
