“Really excellent book. It's great that it can be accessed as an eBook on your laptop and Smartphone. The Case Quizzes at the end of the chapters are very good as well.”
“I haven’t read it all yet. I purchase every new edition. I find solutions in all medical issues.”
“The book is very detailed and self-explanatory. It is easy to use and has everything.”
“The Washington Manual has always been my companion since my medical student years and I have almost every edition since in my library.”
“Great Source of Medical Information”
“Many years ago I had a much smaller version of this book as an intern. Was never without it. It necessarily has become a bigger work. I miss the spiral binding. The font is too small for my aging eyes, but I understand larger font would make the book even bigger. A huge plus is the purchase enables you to download the book to your computer and other devices. I am an Apple user and the book is now on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. In those locations the font is larger and very easy to read. The book will probably remain at home for most and they will use their portable device for reference.”
“Readable comprehensive guide for inpatient internal medicine is massive but compact and well bound. It gets right to the point! However the index is incomplete and numerous subjects discussed in the book are not listed In the index. However the included electronic version Is fully searchable, hyperlinked, scrolls nicely, and is an delightfully unexpected add-on to this essential guide.”
“I use this book daily as an internal medicine resident. I recently used it during two weeks of overnight admissions, and it was easy to quickly find the relevant information to create management plans. Online activation worked fine for me. Also no missing pages in the physical copy, though the back cover was a little wrinkled during shipping. Overall highly recommended.”
“This book is a must have for those going through school or already practicing as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. It provides up to date information at the convenience of your hands. It’s easy to carry with you to work.”
“Great book with a lot of information for a new nurse practitioner hospitalist. The font is a little small but still easy to read. It's broken down in sections and for each diagnosis, you have the general information behind it, patho, any additional info, diagnosis, clinical presentation, testing and treatment.”
“Best medical manual, easy to read and precise. You get online access as well. Great for doctors and nurses.”
“Very helpful in taking care of patients in hospital, covers generally most of the diseases, gives path ophthalmology of common important disease diagnostic tests and treatment with new medications, giving common side effects .tables are great , the list of references.”
“This is classic - used by internal medicine residents and physicians. Quick review. Over the years, has become too heavy to carry in your white coat pocket but a digital version is included for your tablet or phone.”
“It continues to be a must for practicing physicians in the need to make rapid decisions in the ever increasing complexity of the medical scenario.”
“Love the way it is organized! Gets right to the point.”
“I’m using this book daily during my internship specialization.”
“The contents are arranged in a decent and easy-to-find style. The updates are recent enough. The dosages and drug regimens are very practical. It would benefit the Post graduate students of Family medicine and Internal medicine the most apart from the practicing GPs and PG trainers.”
“The book is very good; illustrated but in a concise manner; this is worth to buy this book; more information added to this edition as i already read the just previous edition of this book; it is very helpful to go through the theoretical part of medicine and the practical part as well; if anybody wants to know something about Critical Care Medicine this book is also helpful to some extent.”
