Gurbir Thind is the senior vice president of Strategic Planning & Corporate Development for Wolters Kluwer Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC). FCC provides lending, regulatory and investment compliance solutions to financial institutions and legal entity compliance solutions to corporations, small businesses, and law firms.
Gurbir is focused on driving divisional growth and supporting the strategic vision of each of the businesses within the FCC division. His responsibilities span both organic and inorganic initiatives and include leadership of the strategy, planning, digital marketing, corporate development and M&A functions for the division.
Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Gurbir was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he helped drive the strategic transformation of the Securities Services division. Prior to that, he spent several years at Citibank as the COO for the global clearing business serving banks and broker dealers and at Booz & Company as a Principal in the financial services practice.
Gurbir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
