Prace z Prawa Własności Intelektualnej (ZNUJ PPWI) is a periodical published as part of Zeszyty Naukowe Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego journal and continues Prace z Wynalazczości i Ochrony Własności Intelektualnej (ZNUJ PWiOWI), published since 1973. Since mid-2008 the periodical has been published as a quarterly by Wolters Kluwer Polska. It is published regularly towards the end of the last month of each quarter.
ZNUJ PPWI discusses all aspects of intellectual property law (including copyright and neighbouring rights, industrial property law, competition
protection law, media law, and information law). The published texts focus on various problems from the field of intellectual property law from the
point of view of international law, EU law, and domestic law. The mission of ZNUJ PPWI is to present the most important issues of this very quickly
developing branch of law (which is linked particularly to the growth of new technologies). Authors of articles published in the periodical are often
the most distinguished academics and experts affiliated in various domestic and foreign universities and institutions, as well as practitioners
(including judges, advocates, attorneys at law, patent agents) specializing in intellectual property law.
The author receives 70 points for a publication in ZNUJ PPWI (according to the Annex to the Communication of the Minister of Science of 5 January 2024, regarding the list of academic journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, issued on the basis of Article 267(3) of the Act on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018, Polish Journal of Laws [Dziennik Ustaw], consolidated text: 2023, item 742, as amended).
The journal is included in the international European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH+) database.
The journal is indexed in the ICI Journals Master List database for 2023 (ICV 2023 = 56.37).
