In the years 1996–2001, studied at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan at the Faculty of Law and Administration; in the years 2001-2004, completed judicial training at the District Court of Poznan, while in the years 2002–2007 - PhD studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. In 2007, obtained a PhD degree in legal sciences, afterwards, in the years 2008–2018, employed as an assistant professor at this university. In 2014 he obtained a postdoctoral degree in legal sciences, and since 2018 he has been an associate professor at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. As of 2010, he has also lectured at Polish-German law studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).
In the years 2001–2004 –a trainee judge, as of 2008 – an assistant judge and as of 2008 – a district court judge. As of 2018, he has been a civil and enforcement inspector.
In 2015 he was awarded the second prize in the 50th Competition held by "Państwo i Prawo" for the best postdoctoral dissertation in the field of legal sciences for the monograph "Analogy in Civil Procedural Law" (Warsaw 2013); in 2015 - a special prize of the 6th edition of a competition run jointly by Wolters Kluwer Polska and the Editorial Board of “Przegląd Sądowy” for a "Law Book, Most Useful in Judicial Practice Issued in 2013" for the monograph "Analogy in Civil Procedural Law" (Warsaw 2013); while in 2001 he was awarded the Sapere aude Medal of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan for outstanding academic achievement and outstanding participation in the life of the University.
In the years 2013–2015, member of the problem team of the Civil Law Codification Commission for the implementation of Regulation (EU) No. 650/2012 of the European Parliament and the European Council of July 4th, 2012; in the years 2011–2015 - a member of the problem team of the Civil Law Codification Commission for Enforcement; in the years 2011–2015 - member of the problem team of the Civil Law Codification Commission for Civil Procedure; as of 2010 - member of the Editorial Committee of the quarterly “Polski Proces Cywilny”; and as of 2008 - member of the Scientific Society of Civil Processualists.
